Establish and maintain COOP Work Group
Maintain 24/7 database of Federal contacts for emergencies
Maintain an automated emergency communication system
Offer emergency management training and education programs

Ex: COOP tabletop, State Civil Defense Exercises

Provide assistance and referral regarding emergency preparedness
Foster relationships with multiple levels of government regarding emergency issues
Develop emergency dismissal plan
Respond to OPM inquiries regarding incidents that have an impact on the wider federal community
Distribute communications and policies from higher authorities following an emergency

Human Capital Readiness

Establish/network FEB Training Council

- Develop agency talent and bridge skill gaps

Promote and share local agency best practices

- Ex: Excellence in Federal Government Awards Luncheon)

Maintain and promote Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Program
Provide information on recruitment and retention services

- Ex: Transitional services, job announcements, Base Realignment and Closures (BRAC), Career Day/College Programs, Job Fairs

Sponsor forums on “new initiatives”

- Ex: Pay for Performance, National Security Pay System (NSPS), Accountability (workers, supervisors, managers) Diversity (Changing Face of Government)

Offer training to enhance employee performance and career development

- Ex: Pacific Leadership Academy Senior and Emerging Leaders Program, Six Core Competencies
