The Combined Federal Campaign is the world's largest and
most successful annual workplace fund-raising drive. Each
year, more than 300 CFC campaigns throughout the country
and internationally help to raise millions of dollars.
The mission of the CFC is to promote and support philanthropy
through a program that is employee focused, cost-efficient,
and effective in providing all federal employees the opportunity
to improve the quality of life for all.
Pledges made by Federal civilian, postal and military donors
during the campaign season support eligible non-profit organizations
that provide health and human service benefits throughout
the world.
The CFC is under the U.S. Office of Personnel Management
(OPM). OPM has designated responsibility for day to day
management of the CFC to the Office of CFC Operations (OCFCO)
.
The Honolulu-Pacific Federal Executive Board provides oversight
for the Hawaii-Pacific Area Combined Federal Campaign and
also determines eligibility for the local charities that
apply to participate in the campaign.
